I'm the devil ? !

You are The Devil

Materiality. Material Force. Material temptation; sometimes obsession

The Devil is often a great card for business success; hard work and ambition.

Perhaps the most misunderstood of all the major arcana, the Devil is not really "Satan" at all, but Pan the half-goat nature god and/or Dionysius. These are gods of pleasure and abandon, of wild behavior and unbridled desires. This is a card about ambitions; it is also synonymous with temptation and addiction. On the flip side, however, the card can be a warning to someone who is too restrained, someone who never allows themselves to get passionate or messy or wild - or ambitious. This, too, is a form of enslavement. As a person, the Devil can stand for a man of money or erotic power, aggressive, controlling, or just persuasive. This is not to say a bad man, but certainly a powerful man who is hard to resist. The important thing is to remember that any chain is freely worn. In most cases, you are enslaved only because you allow it.

bouquet of chocolate hearts

I suppose you could sense valentine's day coming when your next door neighbour starts touting roses and daisies for your girlfriend, the same realization when you started to hear chinese gong xi ni songs while grocery shopping.
Lets not get too caught up with the lovey-dovey atmopshere and do what everyone else is doing. Maybe i'm just finding another reason to avoid the horrendously overpriced meals you'll find on 14th feb or just because i'm sore for not having any dates but lets not digress. Cos often we fail to see the big picture in life. Love isn't just a feeling between a couple.
Lets not forget that Love exists too within the family, with your sisters, your beloved cats, grandparents you've hardly visited. So lets move away from this farce of valentine's day, nothing more than an over-commercialised insignificant date, instead spend it with those who truly care, and often mistakenly neglect.

Destiny

The whole concept of Destiny has crept up to me so often these few days. On one side, there's the love aspect. Questions like who you're destined to be with? Is there such a person as "the only one" for you out there? Then there's the more intimate part, where you wonder if what you've been working so hard for is really what you are meant to be doing? Is your route in life already laid out before you, just waiting for you to thread across? Or are you meant to engage on this journey, and find your own bearings, sail your own ship in any manner you please.

I look like a girl

If myheritage.com is to be believed, my face exhibits more feminine features than masculine.
I ran one of my korpet-takeninthemorningbeforeshowering pictures and it gave me an interesting result.

Top of the list was Denise Richards, then Ha Ji-won and Bunko Kanazawa.
Then, Kim Hee-Sun, Cameron Diaz & Stephen Chow (the only male species)

Tell me I don't have pretty oriental female features. Hehh.

Take a look

Kuala Lumpur

So if you were to ask any one of us, the KL trip was a bang & We got photos to prove it.
Funny how none of us had blogged about it, yet.
-That was us 4+1, just arrived in KL.
All rested & ready to roll.
Transnasional buses were okay at best; nothing special
From Left: Lib. Kin. Nuh. Bud

One of many pics taken from the room, or bunk.
It had double beds & reminded kin fondly of his army days.
Days which have long gone.

And Kin's smile says it all.
A free man, ORD-ed in December. & brown hair to boot now

View from the inside. "At least it has a window, this time"

U can see the busy petaling street at night.
Some stalls are mobile, they appear only when dusk falls
We did quite a bit of shopping there too.

One of many menara shots we took.
This one was just fab, taken at night.
It seemed surreal.

&

Unbelievably stunning.

Supper after 2.
At a nearby mamak. Yes, mama, with a k.
Not forgetting, bunga kekwa, roti canai, sky juice, etc

One of many words we've learnt.

And...

Back in SG.

Tsk, we had a blast.

& we'll be back, fo sho'

Yes, Kin Loves NYE.

So did we.

Have a great year ahead dear jackasses,
